There was a lot to unpack (heh) at Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 reveal. The company unveiled a host of services and surprised everyone by announcing a collaboration with Mircosoft. One of the services that hardly got any bandwidth at the event was PlayGalaxy Link. Samsung's game streaming service was relegated to a sentence in its mobile gaming segment. GamePlay Live is a streaming service that makes it possible to stream PC games to the Note 10. The company did, however, post a trailer of the service in action.

　　PlayGalaxy Link will first make its way to Galaxy Note 10 users upon its release next week. Techcrunch got word that the service will be available as a downloadable app on Android and Windows 10. It is expected to release at some point during the first two weeks of September. The service is free and leverages technology created by Parsec, a New York-based cloud gaming startup.

　　Samsung is even throwing in a dedicated controller in the mix. Not much is known about the yet to be released controller, and more details should emerge on the official website, which isn't online yet. Looking at its Amazon listing, It is obvious that it takes some design cues from the Steam Link. The controller is also designed to fit the Galaxy Note series phones perfectly and can last for 10 hours on a single charge.

　　Samsung, like many other industry bigwigs, has been focusing on the mobile gaming space since late last year. Fortnite for Android was a Galaxy Note 9 exclusive and Samsung even threw in an exclusive Fortnite skin for people who bought the device. It'll be interesting to see how PlayGalaxy Link holds up against Google's Stadia, Apple Arcade and the yet-to-be-announced Google Play Pass.
