Saints Row 2's first downloadable content pack was originally set to go live today, but as anyone who has played the game's sewage-spewing minigame knows, **** happens.
THQ confirmed today that the Ultor Exposed downloadable content will instead arrive on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network on April 23. Xbox 360 gamers will have to fork over 800 Microsoft points for the pack, whereas PS3 gamers can spend an equivalent $9.99.
Beyond a trio of new co-op-enabled missions featuring adult-film star and Saints Row veteran Tera Patrick, Ultor Exposed will introduce a selection of new cars and aircraft to commandeer. Other additions include new customization options (including new hairstyles, clothing, and a costume of Destroy All Humans protagonist Crypto) and new maps for the Strong Arm and Gangsta multiplayer modes.
Saints Row 2 was released in October on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to critical acclaim. A PC edition followed in January, though it was plagued by technical problems. There is no word on whether the Ultor Exposed pack will be arriving for players of the PC edition of Saints Row 2.
