Paris-based online game and software developer Nevrax has announced the reopening of beta testing for its massively multiplayer online role-playing game The Saga of Ryzom. This latest test begins August 30 and ends September 14. Previously open for beta testing in April and May, The Saga of Ryzom has already gathered more than 120,000 players to help the development team iron out bugs and test the servers.
Nevrax also revealed plans for an advanced test server to launch with the game's September release. Access to the advanced test server will be available only to customers who preorder Ryzom or to those who are given access to it by Nevrax. The advanced test server will expose testers to the latest features and newest missions available in the game before they are taken live.
The closed tests weve done this summer have proven invaluable in balancing and improving Ryzom, said Nevrax CEO David Cohen Corval. By inviting the most dedicated of our fans to play in this special server after launch, we will be able to continue to receive the input and testing we need to manage Ryzom.
Registration for the beta test is available at the Saga of Ryzom Web site.
