Gathering of Developers announced today that it will publish a Macintosh version of Rune. The Mac version of the game will be co-developed by Westlake Interactive, a studio that specializes in PC to Mac game conversions. Westlake has said that the code should not be difficult to port and the Mac version of the game is expected to be complete shortly after the PC release this fall.
"We had a great response to Rune at this year's E3 from both PC and Mac enthusiasts," said Tim Gerritsen, business development director of Human Head Studios. "Westlake did a great job with other Gathering games and we are happy to be working with [it] on a Mac version of Rune."
