IndieWire

"The conceit that drives this burgeoning franchise — aliens, but they hear really well — makes for effective enough horror and tension, but Krasinski's very real, very deep affection for the family he has placed in the middle of all this is what seems destined to keep truly growing." -Kate Erbland [Full Review]

Entertainment Weekly

"Once again, Krasinski manages to render relatively straightforward tasks--nursing a baby, tuning a radio, walking through a train car--harrowing; dialogue, by necessity, is rarely wasted, and his actors feel far more sympathetically human and real than most meat-puppet horror chum." -Leah Greenblatt [Full Review]

Paste

"That leaves A Quiet Place Part II to be a charmingly unambitious, ultimately enjoyable step down of a sequel: A controlled expansion where novelty fades to reveal technical prowess and contempt starts peeking out behind familiarity." -Jacob Oller [Full Review]

The A.V. Club

"But while the roman numerical title implies a grand continuation, what this second installment mostly offers more of is the same: It’s a part two in the classic, traditional sense, echoing without quite amplifying the pleasures of its predecessor." -A.A. Dowd [Full Review]

Empire

"Krasinski's filmmaking mostly has a slick, well-tooled confidence that should land him a superhero gig soon, but it might be wise to let the Abbotts off the hook for now." -Ian Freer [Full Review]
