Ripcord Games' Return Fire 2 has gone gold, the company announced today. The real-time 3D multiplayer game will start shipping on Sept. 21.
When it does reach store shelves (at an expected price of US$49.95), the game will sport a $20 rebate offer, which can be downloaded off the Ripcord Games web site and is good through the month of October.
In the game, players pilot one of a half-dozen vehicles - double-barreled tank, PT boat, jump jet, helicopter, armored support vehicle, and jeep - for bouts of capture the flag. It's playable by up to 16 players.
