New Resident Evil 4 remake comparison videos were shared online following the release of the Chainsaw playable demo, highlighting not only the differences with the original release but also the differences between the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions.
The first new video, which has been put together by GameXplain, highlights not just the obvious visual differences but also the differences in atmosphere, which is much darker in the upcoming remake, at least in the Village sequence.
The second video, which was shared on YouTube by FP Good Game, puts the Resident Evil 4 remake Chainsaw demo on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 side by side, highlighting how the previous generation version of the game holds up surprisingly well, despite the differences.
As mentioned above, players on all formats can try out the Resident Evil 4 remake right now, thanks to the Chainsaw Demo, which can be played indefinitely, unlike other demos released by CAPCOM for past entries in the series. While the demo is short, it's undoubtedly a great way to get the first taste of the experience ahead of the game's release later this month.
The Resident Evil 4 remake launches on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on March 24th worldwide. You can learn more about the highly anticipated remake of one of the most popular entries in the series by checking out my preview.
