Resident Evil 4 Remake Anime Commercial Released Ahead of This Week’s Global Launch-September 2024
Sep 20, 2024 11:45 AM

A short Resident Evil 4 Remake Anime commercial has been released ahead of the game's global launch later this week.

Created by the famous Japanese animation studio Nippon Animation and Capcom (and released by Capcom Asia), this 1-minute long animation commercial has Leon looking for Ashley in a cute village before getting murdered by the village's violent cult. The video is called "Leon and the Mysterious Village" Episode 1, and it's a funny short video that, going by the comments on YouTube, is being appreciated by fans as well. You can check out the Resident Evil 4 Remake Anime commercial video down below:

Resident Evil 4 Remake releases later this week on March 23 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. A demo for the game was released earlier this month, and this demo already received some impressive community mods, which will surely also come to the full game.

As can be read in our review, the game has surely been worth the wait for Resident Evil fans. We were especially fond of the game's fleshed-out characters, stunning visuals, amount of content, and more. Capcom has done an amazing job recapturing the "big moments" in the game that excited fans upon the game's initial release. We've included a part of our launch review below:

"Now, I have to say, while the tone of the last few paragraphs has been a bit negative, whether we’re talking about the original or the remake, Resident Evil 4 is still a very good game", our very own Nathan Birch wrote. "I may be a bit disappointed by the scope and ambition of Capcom’s reimagining, but RE4 is still one of the most inventive and engaging action-horror games ever made, and this is a competent, technically-impressive new version of the game. The village battle may be largely the same, but it still gets your blood pumping. Same goes for the cabin defense sequence, your showdown with the village chief, or your first encounter with a Regenerator. The RE4 remake is still a fun, bombastic dose of mayhem, I just feel like it had the potential to be even better. It also suffers from the fact that Resident Evil Village was, in some ways, the bigger, crazier take on RE4 that this remake could have been."

Will you be picking up the remake of this marvelous game that originally launched for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2005? Hit the comments down below.
