A web site named Bio-Flames has launched a petition to convince Capcom to release the so-called Resident Evil 1.5 - the original version of Resident Evil 2 that was never released to public. Instead, Capcom reworked the game drastically and released it as the RE2 we know today. In the process, several characters, enemies, and weapons were removed.
The petition started by Kim "Inflames" Larsen has received support from over 1850 gamers and Resident Evil fans. Larsen believes that, for Capcom to seriously consider a release of Resident Evil 1.5, many more gamers have to jump on the bandwagon.
