UbiSoft is getting ready to release its PC 3D motorcycle racing game on August 10. Developed by Criterion Studios, Redline Racer features ten tracks set in six environments ranging from sandy beaches to mountain roads to the English countryside. Players will be able to choose from eight motorcycles and five extra hidden vehicles, eight teams, three levels of difficulty, and multiplayer modes through the Internet, LAN, modem, or direct link.
In preparation for the new title, UbiSoft has updated the look of its Redline Racer web site for better presentation and a new 800x600 screen resolution.
UbiSoft's specs for the game include a Pentium 133 with a 3Dfx card (or 166 with another 3D-accelerator card), 16MB RAM, Windows 95/98, a 4X CD-ROM drive, and a 16-bit sound card. The game supports force-feedback joysticks, Microsoft's Direct3D, and Aureal's A3D sound API.
