Bethesda's debut entry in its Elder Scrolls Adventures series has gone gold and is expected to hit stores the week of November 16. Redguard is also available for purchase at Bethesda's web site and will be shipped direct from its warehouse on November 11.
Redguard utilizes a full 3D world with fully animated characters, a rich storyline, detailed swordplay, and a third-person point of view for a more adventure-style game, departing a bit from Bethesda's role-playing series. 3Dfx Voodoo and Voodoo 2 support will also be included.
Every copy of the game also comes with the Redguard Comic, explaining some of the background story material behind the game.
"Redguard turned out even better than I could have ever imagined, even way back when we were first designing the game," said Todd Howard, project leader of Redguard. "We had a fantastic team working on the game, and we were committed to refining and polishing it."
