Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally releasing in two days on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Rockstar Games confirmed today that more than just the game will be released on October 26th.
Alongside Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games will release a companion app on the App Store and Google Play Store. Through the app, players will be able to check out the map, a diary with relevant information and even move the HUD completely on the smart device, freeing space on the main screen.

Yesterday, the full Red Dead Redemption 2 map leaked online, confirming that most of the Red Dead Redemption map will be featured in the prequel. Mexico seems to be missing from the map, but we cannot be sure it won't be in until the game releases later this week. Even without it, however, the map looks truly massive, with a lot of new and returning locations.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launches on October 26th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version hasn't been confirmed so far, and the recent listing on Media Markt has been confirmed to be just a placeholder. We will keep you updated on the matter as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
