"We all was so down, our dreams of playing in the coke league was crushed, and I felt horrible about letting my team down." Reason Gaming's jungler Trashy sighs over Reddit. His team was recently disqualified from Riot Games' amateur tournament. According to Trashy, his problems began five minutes before the fateful match began: "As i was watching LCS my stream closed, and my browser didn't work anymore, and my client disconnected."

At 20:55 my internet started working again normally. As i was pissed i started researching what happened to my internet. I called my provider(local provider - having around 10k users), and they told me there was a problem with the main firewall, and i explained him the situation. Later on he called me back, and they could report the problem as a DDOS. Coincidence? I dont think so.

Trashy continues, adding he feels that Riot should provide an avenue of action should such issues arise for the teams.

"If this happens in such ways as it happened to us(We had no chance at all to prepare for this). They need to let the team atleast have a chance of playing the match. It could be done by giving a time for the match only for the teams, so no one knows when the game is getting played. I believe that Riots intension with the Coke League is that the best amateur teams will compete in their tournament, which isn't the case if DDOS is the way to victory."
