I can only imagine what Microsoft and Nintendo are thinking at this moment. I just can't believe anyone could think that was a slam dunk for Sony. Compared to the sheer excitement from last year's conference, the reaction this time around was a lot more subdued. And $500 for the less expensive PS3? Toss in the bundle that you'll have to buy, and all of a sudden you gotta wonder just how much people are willing to shell out. The die-hards will pay anything, but regular consumers are going to flinch. Anyway, some photos.

　　The team reacts to the Sony press conference finally starting, approximately 45 minutes behind schedule. Lots of effort went into getting everything set up, and lots of fingers were crossed for a while now. Needless to say, a great weight was lifted from our shoulders once it got underway.

　　I kept looking at the faces of everyone during the conference and pretty much everyone went through a wide range of emotions. Some things looked really good, while others were not so good. But one thing that didn't change. We could barely tear our eyes away from the screen.
