Is Radical throwing in the towel?
An internal memo addressed to "All San Francisco Radical Entertainment Employees" states that this coming Friday, Radical Entertainment will shutter its SF operation.
The memo, written by Radical's CEO Mike Ribero, states unequivocally that the end of the road had been reached.
Dated September 23 and faxed anonymously to GameSpot News, the memo reads in part:
"We regret to inform you that recent events require us to consolidate our operations and therefore will be closing the San Francisco office. Your employment with Radical Entertainment will terminate on Friday, September 25, 1998."
Additional terms regarding benefits and Radical's finances were also addressed in the memo. No mention was made of what, if any, financial woes may be affecting Radical's main facility in Vancouver, Canada. Calls to Radical USA were not returned at press time.
