Oct 25, 2024 7:39 PM

According Remedy's drama director Stobe Harju, the team has locked down the "shivering" end scene of Quantum Break, which is important to the rest of the scenes.

Although Quantum Break on Xbox One won't be released until April 2016, seeing how the game's ending will roll out, is important in the development process of the game. According the drama director, the ending scene of the game made him "shiver". Knowing how the game will end is important for the other scenes in the game.

Locked the end scene of @quantumbreak @remedygames. Not just the scene making me shiver, but late hours and the fact that i love this shit.

@A3rnout What I meant was that we basically can see how the ending is going to roll out among other scenes and that's important. That's all.

With Stobe's tweets, he's probably referring to Quantum Break's interactive TV show, which is connected to the game in, such as way that the digital episodes from the show, will interact with the game based the choices the player make in the show. During Gamescom 2015, Remedy showed off a new demo for the game and explained how the TV-show is integrated in the game. According the Finish developer, "The game is about the heroes and the show is about the villains". You can check out the Gamescom demo down below.

Quantum Break skippable TV-Show

With Quantum Break, Remedy is merging a game and TV show together to create a "revolutionary entertainment experience."

Quantum Break's interactive TV-show is said to consist of 4 episodes, with a run time of around 22 minutes each. Remedy has confirmed that the episodes from the TV-show are skippable, but by doing so, the player will miss out on the game's story.

Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break was first scheduled for a release in 2014, but has been delayed multiple times. According publisher Microsoft the game was recently delayed due to a clash with other Xbox One exclusives releasing late 2015. Remedy's Sam Lake, has assured fans that the extra development time on the game, will be used to further "polish" the game.

Quantum Break is now set for a release on April 5, 2016.
