Oct 22, 2024 6:45 AM

Quantum Break PC is now up on Microsoft’s Windows Store, and the time-bending action title requires approximately 36GB of free hard drive space.

Two weeks ago, Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment announced that Quantum Break would also be releasing for PC. The game has been built for Windows 10, and will be the first DirectX12 (DX12) only title released so far. Alongside the game’s PC announcement, Microsoft and Remedy also revealed the game’s system requirements, which can be found here.

Quantum Break will be releasing simultaneously on Xbox One and PC on April 5th, and Microsoft has now put up the title on the Windows Store.

From Remedy Entertainment, the masters of cinematic action games such as Max Payne and Alan Wake, comes Quantum Break, a time-amplified suspenseful blockbuster. The Quantum Break experience is part game, part live action show—where decisions in one dramatically affect the other. You are Jack Joyce, fighting the nefarious Monarch corporation to stop the end of time. Epic moments of destruction, frozen in chaotic “time stutters,” become playgrounds for intense combat. With a star-studded cast of actors from X-Men, Game of Thrones, The Wire and more, Quantum Break’s time-amplified story is a new and unique entertainment experience.

FEATURES: • In-depth, fast-paced narrative experience crafted by Remedy Entertainment • Top quality live action show that is directly impacted by choices made in-game • Stellar cast of actors • One story told many ways • Time-amplified action gameplay • Navigate epic scenes of destruction as they skip and rewind in broken time

Quantum Break PC has gone gold a few weeks ago

For those interested in the game’s file size on PC – the action game from Remedy requires approximately 36GB of free hard drive space. In contrast, the Xbox One version has been listed with a file size of 44.09GB.

Two weeks ago, Remedy’s creative director, Sam Lake, announced that Quantum Break has gone ‘gold’. The gold status implies that development on the game has been finished, and that it is being made ready for packaging and shipment to retailers.
