Indie studio Crunching Koalas will release its puzzler MouseCraft on July 8 for PS4, PS3, Vita. PC, Mac, and Linux versions of the game will also be released on Steam.
The studio describes the game as a mix between Lemmings and Tetris, with players dropping tetromino blocks to guide a set of mice around obstacles. The game will ship with 80 levels, and the main storyline will offer around 6-8 hours of gameplay.
But MouseCraft will also feature its own level editor, and creations can be shared over Steam workshop or through the game's bespoke system. Crunching Koalas adds that Sony platforms will support Cross-Buy and Cross-Save, and the Steam version will feature cloud saves, leaderboards, and trading cards.
Mousecraft's journey to release has seen it rise up through the ranks of Steam Greenlight and, in recent weeks, was picked up by publisher Curve Studios. A new trailer for the game (above) was also released.
