PS4 Pro updates for Bethesda’s “The Elder Scrolls Online” and Monolith’s “Shadow of Mordor” are being deployed as we speak.

　　The PS4 Pro will not release before November 10, but developers are already deploying patches to support Sony’s enhanced PS4 console.

　　The One Tamriel update for The Elder Scrolls Online is the biggest console update for the game to date – on Xbox One the update weighs in at roughly, while the PS4 patch is approx. 18GB. Although the update size varies between both platforms, it would seem that Bethesda and Zenimax also included support for the PS4 Pro through the PS4 update.

PlayStation®4 Pro Support

　　This update adds support for the upcoming PlayStation®4 Pro! There are two graphics modes available exclusively to PS4 Pro players: 4k mode and 1080p enhanced mode.

　　This includes all of the graphical features available on the original PlayStation®4, and the game will run at native 4k resolution.

　　This is the default when the PS4 Pro is hooked up to a display that supports 4k resolution.

　　1080p Enhanced Mode

　　This includes all of the graphical features available on the original PlayStation®4, and also includes the following graphical enhancements:

　　Ambient occlusion

　　Water reflections

　　Improved shadow fidelity

　　PS4 Pro support for The Elder Scrolls Online supports 2 graphic modes – a mode that renders the game in native 4K on 4K displays, and a 1080P enhanced mode that enhances the game’s visuals on the PS4 Pro.

　　Meanwhile, a PS4 Pro patch for Shadow of Mordor: Game of the Year Edition is also been rolled out as we speak. Update 1.02 for the game adds 4K support.

　　A PS4 Pro patch for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is also being released as we speak.  On Sony’s beefed up PS4, Mankind Divided supports 4K resolution (not native) alongside various graphical improvements.

　　The PS4 Pro will release on November 10 for $ 399.
