The PlayStation 4's new "Share" functionality is not going unused. Sony announced today that users have captured more than 6.5 million "Shares" since launch on November 15.
"That's pretty amazing," Sony said.
The DualShock 4's dedicated Share button allows users to capture and share recorded gameplay video and screenshots through Facebook and Twitter, or live streams via Ustream and Twitch.
Rival console the Xbox One also features similar functionality through its Upload Studio, which allows users to capture, edit, and share screenshots and video clips. Microsoft has not disclosed how many Xbox One owners have used this functionality yet.
Sony has sold 2.1 million PS4s around the world since launch.
