A PS4 firmware update that addresses error code E-801809A8 is said to be arriving in less than one week from now.

　　Following last week’s 5.0 firmware update, numerous PS4 players have been confronted with a console that simply won’t update. The cause appears to be a faulty PS4 Blu-ray drive that prevents the system from updating. Sony has said to be aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution so far. "Thanks all for reporting this", LordRoss from Sony's online support said last week. "Just to confirm we are aware of the issue and are investigating."
