The PlayStation 3's firmware has been upgraded to 1.51, just over a week after the announcement that the console would be getting download 1.50. According to the official Web site, the latest update doesn't add all that much to the system, simply adding a few minor tweaks, including the ability to select an image from your photos as a user icon and a change to the method for automatic sign-in. It also claims that the new firmware will expand "support for PS2 format software titles."
