GameSpot News has received a list of hardware peripherals for the Sony PlayStation2. Interestingly, both horizontal and vertical stands for the PlayStation2 are sold separately.
We've also learned that a DVD component input cable will be available. The component input found on select new TVs, such as the Sony WEGA brand, allows for excellent video quality to be displayed. The PlayStation2 will allow for the use of the component video signal. If you're planning to pick up a PlayStation2 in the future and are currently shopping for a TV, it might be worth your while to check into one that has these component inputs.
