Dutch game publisher Project Three Interactive has announced that it has acquired the worldwide rights to the team-based first-person shooter New World Order. The game features two main factions: the Global Assault Team, an advanced police squad, and The Syndicate, a powerful criminal organization. Players choose to play as one of five character classes, and they have access to a variety of weapons, including the Glock17 and Kalashnikov AK-47. In addition to the single-player missions and team-based multiplayer modes, the game will include cooperative missions.
New World Order is in development at Swedish studio Termite Games, and it is scheduled for release in March 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
