With Microsoft talking about their upcoming Project Scorpio as the most powerful console ever made, many are wondering how much it will actually cost. While details on the console's pricing have yet to come, it looks like Scorpio won't cost more than $500.

　　According to what sources close to Microsoft Studios have told SegmentNext, Microsoft is planning to release Scorpio for less than $500. While these sources couldn't reveal the exact price, it was assured that it will be below $500.

　　However, we have received word from our sources close to Microsoft Studios that their publisher is not planning to exceed $500. While our contact wasn’t able to confirm a specific number, it was assured that the company will remain below $500.

　　Scorpio's price has also been discussed recently by Windows Central's Jez Corden, who also talked about the below $500 price.

　　Xbox is subsidized, PCs aren't. If you think MS is gonna price this above $500 you're in for a shock.

　　Project Scorpio release date has also to be confirmed, and we will surely learn more about it next week at the E3. Last week, it's been confirmed that all Scorpio launch titles will require certification against the October 2017 XDK, so there's no way the console will be released before then, as rumors stated in the past few days.
