While we still have to learn more about the Project Scorpio final name and design, we have managed to get a good look at the console's dev kit thanks to a few images and a video. Recently, another Project Scorpio dev kit video emerged online, focusing on one of the unique features of the kit.

The new Project Scorpio dev kit video, shared by Windows Central's Jez Corden on Twitter, focuses on the fully programmable front panel, which can be used for other rather cool things outside keeping track of a game's FPS.

Scorpio XDK front panel does way more than just FPS count. Fully programmable. Watch dolphins on the back screen, etc. Really cool stuff. pic.twitter.com/AaV63fq9qr

Last month, the Project Scorpio specs have finally been revealed, but the actual reveal came in a very unusual way, with a few websites reporting on them. In a recent interview, Phil Spencer confirmed that this unusual way of revealing the console's specs was employed so to make the reveal as authentic as possible, as he had no idea on what websites were going to write. In the same interview, Spencer also talked about the development of the Scorpio began and how the console will be the one to get for those looking to enjoy multiplatform releases in the best possible way.

Project Scorpio launches this year in all regions. We will keep you updated on the console as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
