For the first time in nearly two decades, Princess Peach will have the leading role in an upcoming Nintendo game. Following a teaser trailer earlier this year, Nintendo fully revealed Peach's eclectic adventure during the latest Nintendo Direct. Princess Peach: Showtime releases March 24, 2024 on Nintendo Switch. Preorders for Princess Peach: Showtime are popping up at major retailers.
Princess Peach: Showtime is available to preorder in both physical and digital formats for $60. Peach's adventure has already been added to the Nintendo Switch Online Game Voucher program, too, allowing Switch owners to get two games for $100 total.
Princess Peach: Showtime is eligible for Best Buy's B2G1 free Switch games promotion (all Nintendo Switch games are eligible, in fact) for My Best Buy Plus/Total members. My Best Buy Plus only costs $50/year, so if you preorder three Switch new releases, it'll pay for itself.

All Princess Peach wants is to enjoy her visit at the Sparkle Theater, but the villainous Grape and the Sour Bunch are up to no good. After Grape "steals the show," Peach assists the Sparkle Theater guardian Stella by starring in a variety of theatrical roles.

Since each role is quite different from the last, Princess Peach: Showtime looks to offer some interesting gameplay variety. Peach's roles will see her become a classical swordfighter, martial arts master, pastry chef, and a detective tasked with solving a mystery at a museum.
