The entire concept of this anime series is that it revolves around a hero who is too strong for his own good, the master of the single knockout blow who has become bored of his own power and really wishes that walking extinction-level threats would stop showing up in his town. Not just a great collection of gags, One-Punch Man also features some incredible animation (although only in its first season if we're being honest here) and a colorful cast of professional heroes who always underestimate Saitama, the titular One-Punch Man.

　　Maybe you want something weirder? Then Jojo's Bizarre Adventure will overdeliver, as this series tells the saga of the Joestar family across multiple decades and protagonists. The first Jojo series, Phantom Blood, is a spooky Victorian epic in which Jonathan Joestar battles his absolute bastard of an adopted brother Dio Brando throughout his life, Battle Tendency pits Joseph Joestar against the mighty Pillar Men, and Stardust Crusaders is a globe-trotting adventure that features the infamous return of Dio and introduces the concept of Stands to the Jojo universe.

　　Things get weirder from there, as Diamond is Unbreakable is essentially high school hijinks mixed with a murder mystery that would make David Fincher proud and Golden Wind is a gangster epic that pushes the idea of Stands to extreme levels.
