Preowned Games Are B2G1 Free At GameStop
Preowned Games Are B2G1 Free At GameStop-November 2024
Nov 6, 2024 10:31 PM

This year has been one of the best years when it comes to hit games, as just about every month has seen a GOTY contender released. In case you missed out on one of these blockbusters, GameStop has a new deal on preowned Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch games where you can catch up on AAA releases and score one of those titles for free in the process.

Currently, GameStop's buy two, get one free deal on preowned games is only available for PowerUp Rewards Pro members , but the special is expected to be available for everyone else later this week. As the sale name implies, you can buy two games from GameStop and get your third title for free. As for the games? Well, all preowned games are eligible, so you can search for whatever you want.

That said, this sale is particularly noteworthy for the 2023 hits that GameStop has in stock.

One such game is Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The return of Link has seen a huge evolution to the Hyrule sandbox that was established in 2017's Breath of the Wild, and combined with its deep gameplay mechanics, Tears of the Kingdom earned itself a rare 10/10 score when it first came out in May this year.

Another game that you can add to your collection is Street Fighter 6, the latest entry in the long-running fighting game franchise.

Whether you're a veteran or a newcomer to fighting games, the beauty of Street Fighter 6 is that it's the most accessible chapter in the franchise yet, as it balances clever control schemes with a vibrant cast of characters and a fun story mode.

Sticking with Capcom, Resident Evil 4 got an impressive remake this year that expands on the ghoulish charm of the original game and adds some excellent quality-of-life changes. It's also a great-looking game that focuses on survival-action and has plenty of replayability once you finish its meaty campaign.

For something grimmer, there's Diablo IV. This new chapter in Blizzard's series is a dark return to Sanctuary, and on console, it plays superbly with a controller as you deftly weave your special talents with hard-hitting melee attacks.

Other highlights of the sale include Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Metroid Prime: Remastered, and Dead Space. It's worth noting that even if certain games are listed, it doesn't mean that they're available yet. You have to double-check each listing to make sure the game is available to ship.

Still, this sale is a great chance to own some of the year's best games at a more affordable price and get one of your purchases for free in the process.
