Premium Transformers Toys Are Up To $200 Off For Father's Day-October 2024
Oct 20, 2024 8:56 AM

Father's Day is almost here and if you're still struggling to find the right gift for your dad, then maybe an iconic transforming robot will put a huge grin on his face. Over at Robosen, the manufacturer of very high-end toys is currently having a sale on its line of Transformers toys and humanoid robots.

What makes Robosen's version of Optimus Prime superior to the regular Hasbro version that you'd find in Target or Walmart? Well for starters, this Optimus Prime can transform on command, as you won't have to follow any instructions to shift him from Autobot leader to robot in disguise semi-truck. Not only does the toy look fantastic, but it's also capable of performing a whole host of actions through your voice commands, or if your throat is feeling parched, via a companion app on your smartphone.

The Robosen Optimus Prime can strike a pose, transform, and even be customized to perform additional actions. The best part is that he even talks back to you, as the little Autobot is equipped with the confidence-inspiring voice of Peter Cullen himself. Robosen's deal includes a massive discount on its upcoming Rise of the Beasts Optimus, which sports a more modern design that's in line with the latest Transformers film. If your dad is an '80s child, he'll probably prefer the more G1-accurate version of Optimus, that's also available.

Robosen's latest Optimus Prime figure. Optimus Prime: Rise of the Beasts Signature Edition -- $699 ($899) Elite Optimus Prime -- $599 ($699) Flagship Optimus Prime -- $999 Scout K1 Pro -- $349 ($399) Interstellar Scout K1 -- $249 ($299) Interstellar Agent T9-E -- $349 ($399)Outside of those pricy Transformers, Robosen has also dropped the prices for its two K1 robots and its T9-E planetary rover. These don't have a Cybertronian design, but they're still a whole lot of fun to play with. In case you'd like a breakdown of what a $700 Transformers toy can do, you can read our feature on the Elite Optimus Prime, in which GameSpot editor Steve Watts puts the smaller but more advanced toy through its paces and plenty of action-squats.
