Infogrames announced today that it has shipped Powerspike Pro Beach Volleyball for the PlayStation to retailers. Powerspike, the PlayStation's first volleyball game, features international heartthrob Gabby Reece and 40 other licensed players, as well as a player editor mode. Powerspike includes dink shots, flying sand, dynamic crowd reactions, and 14 international courts to play on.
"Wouldn't we all love to find Gabby Reece and Sinjin Smith under our tree this holiday season?" asked Laddie Ervin, director of marketing for sports and racing at Infogrames. "Power Spike Pro Beach Volleyball's licensed players and realistic gameplay capture the game of beach volleyball so well that gamers will think it's already summer again!"
Powerspike Pro Beach volleyball retails for US$29.99. A Game Boy Color version of Powerspike is currently slated for a December release.
