Now Playing: Pokémon GO Plus + Introduction Video
"Niantic expects tens of thousands of Pokemon GO Trainers (players) from around the world to head to the Big Apple to meet up with fellow Trainers in person, enjoy exclusive gameplay, receive special bonuses, and much more," reads an excerpt from the upcoming event's press release.
Tickets for all three events are available to purchase now. Niantic is offering special early-bird ticket prices for $25 (instead of $30) for a limited time.
Then, from August 26-27, Niantic will host the Pokemon GO Fest Global event, which allows Trainers to play from their own cities. Tickets for this event will cost $15 but will include special features throughout, without forcing players to travel to a specific city.
