PlayStation Portal, Sony's first dedicated Remote Play device, previously known as Project Q, will release later this year to provide a handheld high-definition visual experience.

The device, which will launch later this year for 199.99 USD | 219.99 EURO | 199.99 GBP | 29,980 YEN, will include the key features of the DualSense controller, such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback and a vibrant 8-inch LCD display capable of 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. The device will be perfect for enjoying PlayStation 5 games while away from the TV, as the device will connect to the console over Wi-Fi and be able to play supported games installed on the console and even use a DualSense controller. PSVR 2 games and streamed games via PlayStation Plus Premium cloud streaming are not supported.

Alongside revealing more about the PlayStation Portal device, Sony provided new information on the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, as well as on the PlayStation Link new wireless audio technology. More information can be found on the Official PlayStation Blog.

The PlayStation Portal will launch before the end of the year worldwide. We will let you know more about the device's release date as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
