As already mentioned, there's quite a bit we already know about the PS4 Slim. Two weeks ago, a new unboxing video has been made available, showcasing the console's packaging, slimmer design, new Dual Shock 4 controller, which is slightly different from the regular one and the easier to access HDD bay, which will make upgrading the HDD easier than before.
One of the major improvements that will be included in the PlayStation 4 Slim is support for 5GHz WiFi network connection alongside regular 2.4 GHz wireless band. With the latter now being more crowded than ever, support for 5GHz WiFi network connection is definitely welcome.
Plenty of PlayStation 4 Slim images showcasing the console have surfaced online last month. The images comparing the PlayStation 4 Slim with the regular PS4 show that the new console is much thinner than the original, but the difference isn’t as big as it is with the Xbox One S and the original Xbox One.
