Yesterday, the Best Buy website started listing three unannounced Nintendo Switch games - Persona 5, Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. As the retailer correctly leaked new titles in the past, this has got fans excited, but it would be better for them to keep their expectations in check, as all three listings have now been removed.
As explained by Twitter user Wario64, the three listings have been pulled from their internal systems, but they still exist in some form.
Best Buy has pulled the Persona 5 Switch, Metroid Prime Trilogy Switch, and Link to the Past Switch listings from their internal systems as of this morning
Just to clarify on the Best Buy thing, the Switch listings are still there in its RSS, but not on their CoreBlue system. Basically, the listings are still there in one form
It being deleted or not means nothing anyway until they're officially announced
Another Twitter user who used to work at Best Buy also added that there's still a good chance these games are indeed coming.
Used to work at Best Buy and we would look for games all the time when rumors would pop up around or before e3. We could pretty much tell what was going to be announced by looking and seeing what was shown previously with P5 and link to the past.
