Although it wasn't delayed (since PopCap says it was never meant to be a launch title), a contingent of fans have been eagerly waiting to play the follow-up to Peggle since it was announced at E3 2013. As long as you have an Xbox One, that wait is almost over.
A preview of Peggle 2 at VentureBeat revealed a December 9 release date for the downloadable game as well as the price: $12. While gameplay stays relatively the same as the previous title, some of the new features for Peggle 2 will include a fresh slate of helpers (with requisite new powers) and bumpers that will allow you to keep your ball in play longer.
The preview does not discuss whether the game will be changed for release on other consoles or release dates outside of the Xbox One.
