The first trailer for Peacock's new documentary series about notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy has been released. The show is titled John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise and is the service's first original unscripted and true crime series.
John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise is a six-part documentary, and every episode will be released on Peacock on March 25. It tells the story of the notorious killer, who murdered more than 30 victims between 1972 and 1978 and was executed in 1994. Gacy also worked as a clown at children's birthday parties.
The show uses extensive unseen footage from a lengthy interview with Gacy himself, plus interviews with former associates and his second ex-wife. True crime documentaries are hugely popular on streaming, and this will be a must-watch for fans when it releases next month. Check the trailer out below:
The series is produced by Rod Blackhurst, who previously co-directed the acclaimed 2016 documentary Amanda Knox. For more, check out GameSpot's guide to the most gripping true crime shows and movies to watch on streaming.
