PC To Xbox One Streaming Is Coming, According To Microsoft’s Latest Survey-November 2024
Nov 14, 2024 7:41 PM

Some time ago, Microsoft enabled the ability to stream Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs. However, it looks like Microsoft is also working on the reverse as hinted in the latest Xbox Rewards survey.

If you read under "Windows 10 integration", the first line says:

Play PC games on your Xbox One, enhanced with graphics and dashboards

Now, while it is highly doubtful that the Xbox One could play PC games with "enhanced graphics", PC to Xbox One streaming doesn't seem far fetched at all.

In fact, Head of Xbox Division Phil Spencer admitted in late July that Microsoft was working on the feature, while speaking to The Verge.

It's actually a little more challenging doing the encoding on the PC side to the Xbox, but challenge is good.

The fact that this type of streaming is openly specified in the latest Xbox Rewards survey seems to suggest that the feature is almost ready, with an official announcement potentially coming soon.

Spencer also said at the time that they would have to bring keyboard & mouse support to Xbox One whenever this happened:

We understand if you're going to go PC to Xbox, we need to get keyboard and mouse working completely so you could play those games.

This would be essential to level the playing field against PC gamers. How much would you be interested in streaming PC games to your Xbox One? Let us know in the comments.
