Along with the release date, the ad campaign also promises early access to the Overwatch open-beta for those that pre-order the game. It indicates the beta will start on May 3.
Blizzard previously confirmed it is planning to launch Overwatch in 2016, but has not officially provided a specific release date itself. It's also possible the release date featured in the ad is a placeholder. GameSpot has contacted Blizzard for confirmation.
