Now Playing: Overwatch 2 - Official “Zero Hour” Announcement Cinematic

"Join them as they dive into the development process and share some work in progress," reads a line from the description.

This panel takes place on Friday, February 19, starting at 3:10 PM PT. Immediately after that, there will be a "Voices of Overwatch" panel where voice actors from the series will discuss their experiences working on the franchise. The actors will also perform an "iconic cinematic" from the Overwatch series, which sounds like it could be very fun.

After that panel, there will be another Overwatch panel called "Overwatch: Creating a Soundtrack," where music director Derek Duke will speak with the game's composers.

Outside of the Overwatch series, the BlizzConline schedule includes several panels related to the Diablo franchise, though none of them mention Diablo IV by name. One panel in particular sounds interesting--Diablo: The Gothic World of Brom--where the Blizzard artist Brom will be interviewed by his son who will ask his father about his inspirations for the art of Diablo in a 1-on-1 interview.

A "Diablo Deep Dive" panel is also scheduled for the event, where developers will discuss the franchise and presumably touch on Diablo IV.

World of Warcraft is also of course getting attention during BlizzConline, with the main panel being "World of Warcraft: What's Next," where developers on the team will reveal what's coming to the popular MMO.

There are also Diablo and World of Warcraft Q&A sessions (but not Overwatch) scheduled for February 20, and those should be interesting given the community's propensity for grilling the developers. It will be a different environment this year, however, as the event is entirely virtual.

You can see the full BlizzConline schedule here. Check back with GameSpot for all the biggest news from the show.

Blizzard recently announced that Overwatch 2 and Diablo IV will not release in 2021, instead scheduling them to launch in 2022 at the soonest.
