Gamers who have been keeping track of the action-tower-defense hybrid Orcs Must Die! can look forward to buying the title sooner than they think. Developers Robot Entertainment recently announced that the game will be out on Xbox Live Arcade on October 5. The PC release via Steam will be out the following week on October 12.
Orcs will die this October. Orcs Must Die's main feature is the ability to control a character on a battlefield while laying down traps and items to stop the onslaught of Orcs attacking the player. Gamers can also upgrade the aforementioned traps and items, as well as complete up to 24 fortresses. According to Robot Entertainment, the Orcs Must Die! franchise may be expanded if the reception positive.
