In an attempt to increase its game production, On-line PLC recently purchased a 25 per cent share of developer Smoking Gun Holdings. Although the Dreamcast and PC platforms are going to be the main targets of the two companies' development efforts at first, GameSpot News has learned that they hope to branch their development out to all major systems.
Already, the two companies are assisting each other with their games. The first game to come from this partnership will be the Internet-based soccer management sim Perfect Soccer. Indeed, much is expected to come from this bond, including another promising title - the forthcoming Dreamcast version of Giant Killers.
"We are extremely excited about the deal, and we believe that there is a lot of potential in both companies. Our partnership is looking to be somewhat of a winning combination"," Mike Hodges, managing director of On-Line, told GameSpot.
On-Line is best known for its hit PC title Giant Killers.
