The big news in ELSPA's official UK game sales chart as compiled by Chart-Track this week is that the PS2 version of The Sims has debuted at number one without any assistance from the PC version. The only other game in this week's chart that wasn't present last week is Monsters, Inc., which is selling well as a result of it's recent release on Sony's budget priced Platinum label.
There's very little to speak of in the way of movement elsewhere in this week's chart, although young Harry Potter's popularity appears to be waning, with The Chamber of Secrets falling from position five to position nine, and The Philosopher's Stone falling no less than 10 positions to number 18. The two games that fell out of the top-20 this week were TimeSplitters 2 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003.
