Sierra has launched the official site for Valve's upcoming Team Fortress 2 at www.team-fortress2.com. The website features screenshots, character models and a complete overview and will be constantly updated with TF2-related news and links to other fan sites.
What was originally meant to be a simple multiplayer add-on to Half-Life has germinated into a complete standalone game. TF2 groups players into teams and pits them against each other in numerous multiplayer combat scenarios. Players can choose one of 12 character classes, including the sniper, engineer and spy in a team effort to defeat the other side.
Team Fortress 2 should be ready by the end of summer.
