Bethesda Softworks has announced that the official Web site for Pirates of the Caribbean has launched. The site features information on and screenshots from the PC and Xbox versions of the game. Pirates of the Caribbean is a role-playing game where players will step into the shoes of a pirate captain pillaging the waters of the Caribbean Sea. Players will be able to command a ship and crew, sword-fight other captains, explore towns, and discover treasure. The game is a licensed companion to the upcoming film of the same name, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (The Rock and Black Hawk Down) and starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom (who played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings).
