Peripheral manufacturer Nyko Technologies has produced an alternative to the Xbox Live headset called SpeakerCom. The device mounts on the Xbox controller and contains a self-muting microphone and speaker that allows players to communicate without wearing a headset. The SpeakerCom also has a built-in volume control and mute option. It sells for $24.99 and should be available today at all major retailers.
