Nobody Wants to Die Looks Too Good to Be True on PS5-April 2024

Subscribe to Push Square on YouTube How about this for a reveal trailer, then? Plaion has announced Nobody Wants to Die by Critical Hit Games, an upcoming futuristic detective escapade set in a dystopian New York. The action takes place in 2329, where you’ll assume the role of agent James Karra, who’s hunting a serial killer targeting the city’s elite.

On the developer’s official website, it describes the game as a first-person, single player, story-driven experience with a “neo-noir atmosphere”. The title’s being powered by Unreal Engine 5, as showcased in this cinematic trailer which all takes place in-engine. It reminds us a little bit of Cyberpunk 2077 we suppose, but we like the idea of using futuristic gadgets to solve a murder mystery.

To be brutally honest, it seems a little too good to be true from where we’re sitting, but it’s hard to judge until we get gameplay footage. Right now, the title’s targeting a 2024 release date, so we shouldn’t have to wait too long for a follow-up trailer. Will you be adding this one to your wishlist like the trailer encourages?
