No Time To Die Trailer Delivers James Bond's New Allies, Villains, And Action-November 2024
Nov 16, 2024 6:33 PM

It's been a period of relative silence for the movie, but the new trailer for No Time To Die is finally here. The latest James Bond movie releases in theaters in November and is set to be Daniel Craig's final appearance as the iconic British superspy. [Update: No Time to Die has been delayed until 2021.]

The new trailer is heavy on action, but there's no denying that it looks spectacular, with car chases, bike stunts, and some cool stuff involving a submarine. Along the way, the trailer introduces some of the movie's new characters, including Rami Malek as the villainous Safin, Ana de Armas as CIA agent Paloma, and Captain Marvel's Lashana Lynch as a new "00" agent named Nomi. As for the plot, it looks like business as usual--Bond is tormented by his past while attempting to save the world. Check it out below:

No Time To Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, whose past credits include the first season of True Detective. It also features a number of regular stars from the last few Bond movies, such as Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine, and Ben Wishsaw as Q. In addition, Christoph Waltz reprises his Spectre role as Blofeld, while Jeffery Wright is back as CIA operative Felix Leiter for the first time since 2008's Quantum of Solace.

No Time to Die's plot still largely remains a mystery, although there are some intriguing hints in the trailer. Safin's motivation is said to be "revenge," and Blofeld states, "Now your enemy's my enemy." He also references a dangerous secret, although it's unclear if that's in reference to a secret of Madeleine's or someone else's.

The movie hits US theaters November 20. As per usual for a 007 movie, it'll be out prior to that in the UK, where it debuts on November 12. The film has been delayed previous, and it's unclear if COVID-19 could lead to an additional delay, although we are seeing some high-profile releases in theaters, including that of Tenet and New Mutants.
