The upcoming Devil May Cry HD Collection won’t support 4K resolution on the Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and PC.
Capcom has told website USGamer that there are currently no plans to support 4K resolution for the upcoming HD collection. Instead, the collection will run at 1080p and 60fps.
So those who have been secretly hoping for an Xbox One X/PS4 Pro update will have to settle with Full HD instead of 4K Ultra HD.
The previous DMC HD collection was released back in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This collection included the first three Devil May Cry games and ran at 720p and 60 frames per second. Down below you’ll find the press release that Capcom released for that collection:
