Nintendo Switch Online is once again expanding its selection of available titles today, with the addition of both Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games. Basic Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to play the original Game Boy games, but you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriber to get in on the Game Boy Advance titles.
Nintendo has done a pretty good job of curating the first round of NSO Game Boy titles, with favorites like Tetris, Super Mario Land 2, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, WarioWare, and more being offered. “Select Game Boy games are being added to Nintendo Switch Online! On Nintendo Switch, you can play these games anytime, anywhere – just like you could back in the day. You can use Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket or Game Boy Color screen filters to help customize your play style. And, up to two players can play compatible games together locally or online for the first time. Here’s the full list of classic games that will be available at launch, with more games being added in the future.”
